Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Traffic Marshall to join our team in Mount Gambier, South Australia. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for a well-compensated role with straightforward responsibilities in a dynamic outdoor environment. As a Traffic Marshall, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and smooth flow of traffic around our construction sites, protecting both workers and the public. Key Responsibilities
- Safely direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic around construction sites using appropriate hand signals and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with site personnel, drivers, and the public to ensure clear understanding of traffic movements.
- Set up and maintain traffic management equipment, including signs, cones, and barriers, in accordance with site plans and safety regulations.
- Monitor site entrances and exits, controlling access as required.
- Report any safety incidents, hazards, or non-compliance issues promptly to the site supervisor.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, as well as relevant traffic management guidelines.
- Maintain a professional and vigilant presence on site at all times.
