Job Description
Are you looking for a physically active role that keeps you fit and outdoors? Travis Perkins in Salisbury is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Timber Stackers to join our busy yard team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, thrive in an outdoor environment, and are committed to maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency. As a Timber Stacker, you will play a crucial role in our yard operations, ensuring our timber products are organized, safely stored, and ready for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manually lift, stack, and organize various types and sizes of timber products.
- Ensure all timber is stored safely and securely, adhering to company safety guidelines.
- Maintain a tidy and organized yard, contributing to a safe working environment.
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries as required.
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet daily operational targets.
- Adhere to all health and safety procedures at all times.
- Report any hazards or incidents promptly to supervisors.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including repetitive lifting and carrying.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
