Job Description

No prior experience is required, as we offer comprehensive NDIS paid training to equip you with all the skills and knowledge needed to excel in this vital role. As a Support Worker, you will provide personalised support to individuals living with disabilities, helping them to live independently, participate in their communities, and achieve their personal goals. Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred support to individuals with disabilities, empowering them to make choices and achieve their goals.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, medication management, and household tasks.
- Support individuals to access and participate in community activities, appointments, and social events.
- Implement individual support plans, behavioural support plans, and health management plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including progress notes and incident reports.
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all individuals.
- Adhere to NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework requirements and Lifestyle Solutions policies and procedures.
Required Skills
- Genuine passion for supporting people with disabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Valid Australian Driver's License and access to a reliable, insured vehicle.
- Willingness to undertake NDIS Worker Screening Check and complete all mandatory training (provided).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.
Preferred Qualifications
- Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
- Experience with manual handling techniques (or willingness to obtain training).
- Previous experience in a caring role (volunteer or paid, not essential for this role).
