Job Description
Are you passionate about live events, sports, or entertainment? Do you enjoy a dynamic environment and helping people have a great experience? The Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Stadium Ushers to join our vibrant team. In this role, you’ll be the friendly face ensuring patrons have a safe, enjoyable, and memorable visit to our events. You’ll assist with seating, provide directions, answer questions, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere. Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome patrons as they enter the venue.
- Verify tickets and direct patrons to their assigned seats.
- Provide information about the venue, facilities, and ongoing events.
- Assist patrons with special needs, including accessible seating and entry.
- Monitor assigned sections for safety hazards, crowd control issues, or disruptive behavior.
- Respond to patron inquiries and resolve minor issues with a positive attitude.
- Enforce venue policies and procedures to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all.
- Report any incidents, emergencies, or security concerns to management immediately.
- Assist with evacuation procedures in case of an emergency.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area within your assigned section.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
- A positive and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or event-based roles.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification (desirable but not mandatory).
- Knowledge of the venue layout and event schedules.
- Experience in crowd management or security awareness.
