Job Description
We are seeking highly skilled and CEC Accredited Solar Installers to join our growing team in Lismore, NSW. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals to contribute to Australia’s renewable energy transition with a leading energy provider. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient installation of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems on various residential and commercial properties. Key Responsibilities
- Install solar PV panels and mounting systems according to design specifications and Australian standards.
- Perform electrical wiring, conduit installation, and inverter setup.
- Ensure all installations comply with CEC guidelines and relevant safety regulations.
- Conduct site assessments and troubleshoot technical issues as they arise.
- Provide excellent customer service and clear communication on-site.
- Complete all necessary documentation and reporting for each installation.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
Required Skills
- Current CEC Accreditation for Grid-Connected PV Systems
- Current unrestricted Electrician's Licence (or equivalent relevant qualification recognised in NSW)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in solar PV installation
- Valid Australian Driver's Licence
- Working at Heights certification
- Strong understanding of electrical safety and AS/NZS 5033 standards
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with various solar inverter brands (e.g., SolarEdge, Fronius, Sungrow)
- Forklift licence or Elevated Work Platform (EWP) licence
- First Aid certification
- Knowledge of battery storage systems installation
