Job Description
Are you ready to kickstart your career in logistics with a global leader? DHL Express is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our team in Adelaide. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods by managing data entry, preparing shipping documents, and assisting with various administrative tasks in our fast-paced operational environment. Key Responsibilities
- Perform accurate and timely data entry related to shipments, tracking information, and inventory.
- Prepare, verify, and maintain shipping documents, including invoices, packing lists, and manifests.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
- Assist with the reception and dispatch of goods, ensuring correct labeling and documentation.
- Monitor and respond to customer inquiries regarding shipment status and documentation.
- Maintain organized filing systems for all shipping records and documents.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Learn and adapt to new software systems and operational procedures as required.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
