Job Description
Toll Group is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Shipping Clerk Assistant to join our dynamic team in Cairns. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals with no prior experience in logistics or shipping. We provide comprehensive on-the-job computer training to equip you with all the necessary skills to excel in this role. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the processing of incoming and outgoing shipments, including data entry and documentation.
- Prepare shipping labels, manifests, and other required paperwork accurately and efficiently.
- Track and trace shipments, providing updates to internal teams and customers as needed.
- Maintain organized filing systems for all shipping and receiving documents.
- Communicate effectively with carriers, drivers, and warehouse personnel.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as directed.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Learn and utilize various logistics software and computer systems.
- Support the shipping department with various administrative tasks.
Required Skills
- No prior experience required – comprehensive training provided.
- Basic computer literacy and a willingness to learn new software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to lift up to 20kg occasionally.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Australia.

- Basic understanding of warehouse operations (even if no direct experience).
