Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist experienced installers with the measurement, preparation, and installation of security screens, doors, and blinds.
  • Learn to safely use various hand and power tools relevant to the installation process.
  • Handle materials, ensuring they are transported, stored, and prepared according to specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work site, including proper disposal of waste and cleanup after installations.
  • Follow all safety protocols and company procedures diligently.
  • Interact professionally with clients, representing the company with courtesy and respect.
  • Perform general labour tasks as needed to support the installation team.
  • Continuously learn and develop skills related to security product installation and general construction.

Required Skills

  • Eagerness and willingness to learn a new trade.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Good physical fitness and ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid Australian Driver's License.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of construction or handyman tasks.
  • Mechanical aptitude and comfort with tools.
  • White Card (Construction Induction Card) – can be obtained upon employment.
