Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Assist qualified Riggers with the safe and efficient movement and placement of heavy loads and equipment.
- Handle and prepare rigging gear, including slings, shackles, and chains, ensuring they are in good condition.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to all site safety protocols and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with riggers, crane operators, and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Participate in daily toolbox talks and safety briefings, actively contributing to a zero-harm workplace.
- Perform general labouring duties as required to support site operations.
- Learn and understand basic rigging principles and safety regulations under supervision.
- Ensure all tasks are completed in compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Required Skills
- No prior experience in rigging or construction required.
- Demonstrated strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Ability to follow instructions meticulously and work effectively in a team environment.
- Commitment to upholding the highest safety standards at all times.
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour in various weather conditions.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Basic understanding of workplace safety is an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications
- Valid Australian Construction Induction Card (White Card).
- Current Driver's License and reliable transport.
- First Aid Certificate (desirable).
