Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and efficient RF Scanner Operator to join our fast-paced warehouse team in Wodonga. This role is crucial for maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of our inventory management system. You will be responsible for using RF scanning equipment to track inbound and outbound shipments, manage stock, and ensure all warehouse operations run smoothly. Key Responsibilities

  • Operate RF scanning equipment to accurately pick, pack, and put away stock.
  • Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against manifests and purchase orders.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies.
  • Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and staging.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Assist with general warehouse duties as required, including loading/unloading.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified).
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet operational targets.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience operating RF scanning equipment in a warehouse setting.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Basic understanding of inventory management principles.
  • Physical fitness to lift and move packages up to 20kg repeatedly.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a logistics or supply chain environment.
  • Forklift license (LF class) with practical experience.
  • Familiarity with various Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
