Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented RF Scanner Operator to join our bustling warehouse team in Geelong. In this role, you will be crucial to maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring the smooth flow of goods. You will be responsible for using RF scanning equipment to track incoming and outgoing shipments, manage stock levels, and prepare orders for dispatch. This is a fast-paced environment that requires quick thinking, precision, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team to meet daily targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate RF scanning equipment to accurately receive, put away, pick, and ship products.
- Perform inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Load and unload freight safely and efficiently.
- Verify product quantities and ensure items match order specifications.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with warehouse team members to achieve operational goals.
- Assist with other general warehouse duties as required.
Required Skills
- Proven experience operating RF scanning equipment in a warehouse setting.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic computer proficiency for data entry and system navigation.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Forklift license (LF) or willingness to obtain one.
- Experience in a logistics or supply chain industry.
