Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our vibrant Townsville boutique as a Receptionist & Customer Liaison. This immediate opening requires someone with exceptional interpersonal skills, a professional demeanor, and a proactive approach to enhancing the customer experience. You will be the first point of contact for our valued clients, managing inquiries, coordinating appointments, and ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk while providing dedicated support to our sales team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly welcome and assist all customers and visitors, creating a positive first impression.
  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and general inquiries with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Schedule and confirm customer appointments for personal styling sessions or special services.
  • Maintain an organized and tidy reception area, ensuring a pristine boutique environment.
  • Provide administrative support to the boutique management and sales team as required.
  • Assist with basic CRM data entry and customer record updates.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
  • Proactively identify customer needs and direct them to the appropriate team member.
  • Support in merchandising and stock-related tasks during quieter periods.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in a customer service or reception role, preferably in retail or hospitality.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
