Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Rail Service Assistant to join our team in Busselton. In this crucial public transport role, you will be the face of Transwa, ensuring a smooth, safe, and pleasant journey for all passengers. Your day will involve assisting passengers, managing onboard services, ensuring compliance with safety procedures, and maintaining a welcoming environment. Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to all passengers, including assistance with boarding, alighting, and luggage.
- Ensure passenger safety and security by adhering to all operational and emergency procedures.
- Conduct ticket checks, provide journey information, and assist with any passenger inquiries or issues.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the train carriages and facilities.
- Operate onboard equipment and communicate effectively with train controllers and other crew members.
- Respond to and assist in emergency situations as per company protocol.
- Complete all required reports and documentation accurately and on time.
