Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist press operators in setting up and operating printing presses.
  • Load paper, ink, and other materials onto the press.
  • Monitor print quality and identify potential issues, reporting them to the operator.
  • Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of equipment.
  • Retrieve and stage materials for upcoming jobs.
  • Support the finishing department as needed, including stacking and packing printed materials.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines at all times.

Required Skills

  • Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently.
  • Good attention to detail and a keen eye for quality.
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 20kg.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to a fast-paced production environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment (not essential, but a plus).
  • Forklift license (a bonus, but not required for this entry-level role).
