Job Description
Join the Inghams team as a Poultry Processing Worker in Busselton! We are looking for motivated individuals to contribute to our food production operations. No prior experience is required – we provide comprehensive on-the-job training to help you succeed. This is a fast-hire opportunity for those eager to start a stable career in a vital industry. You will be an integral part of our processing team, ensuring the efficient and safe production of high-quality poultry products.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform various tasks in the poultry processing plant, including but not limited to sorting, cutting, deboning, packaging, and preparing poultry products.
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently as instructed by supervisors.
- Adhere strictly to food safety, quality assurance, and hygiene standards at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines and procedures.
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet production targets.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to management promptly.
Required Skills
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Capacity to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and move products weighing up to 20kg.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and hygiene.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic understanding of food handling principles (training will be provided).
- Previous experience in a factory, warehouse, or production environment is a plus, but not required.
