Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Operations Data Coordinator to join our team in Adelaide. This role is critical in supporting our civil and mining projects by ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and accessibility of operational data. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting, validating, analyzing, and reporting on various data streams to support decision-making, optimize project performance, and maintain compliance standards. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and operational teams to streamline data processes and enhance reporting capabilities across multiple sites. Key Responsibilities
- Collect, validate, and maintain operational data from various sources related to civil and mining projects.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing regular audits and implementing quality control measures.
- Generate routine and ad-hoc reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support project monitoring and performance analysis.
- Assist in the development and implementation of data management systems and tools.
- Collaborate with project teams to understand data requirements and provide data-driven insights.
- Identify and troubleshoot data discrepancies, working with relevant stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of data collection, processing, and reporting methodologies.
- Support the preparation of project documentation and presentations based on data analysis.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety standards at all times.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in data entry, data management, and database systems (e.g., SQL, Access).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of data validation and quality control principles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
