Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Poultry Hatcher Assistant to join our team in Osborne Park, Western Australia. No prior experience is required, as full training will be provided to ensure you are confident and competent in all aspects of the role. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the setting of eggs into incubators following strict hygiene protocols.
  • Monitor incubator conditions, including temperature and humidity.
  • Support the hatching process, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
  • Handle day-old chicks with care, including sorting, counting, and preparing for transport.
  • Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of hatchery equipment and facilities.
  • Maintain accurate records of egg setting, hatching rates, and chick dispatch.
  • Adhere to all animal welfare guidelines and biosecurity procedures.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or issues to senior staff.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs.
