Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Poultry Farm Hand to join our team in Wetherill Park. This is a full-time position focused on indoor work within our modern poultry facilities. The role involves various tasks essential to the daily care and management of our poultry flocks, ensuring their health, welfare, and productivity. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily checks on poultry health and welfare, reporting any concerns to supervisors.
  • Assist with feeding and watering routines, ensuring adequate supply for all birds.
  • Monitor environmental conditions within sheds, including temperature, ventilation, and lighting.
  • Clean and sanitize poultry sheds and equipment to maintain strict biosecurity standards.
  • Participate in the movement and handling of birds safely and humanely.
  • Collect eggs (if applicable to the specific farm section).
  • Operate basic farm machinery and tools as required, following safety guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of flock data, feed consumption, and other relevant information.
  • Adhere strictly to all company health, safety, and animal welfare policies and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications
