Job Description
Are you looking for an opportunity to kickstart a career in a hands-on, outdoor role? Jim’s Pool Care in Geelong is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Pool Maintenance Trainee to join our growing team. This part-time position is perfect for someone eager to learn the ropes of pool maintenance, with no prior experience required. You’ll work alongside experienced technicians, gaining practical skills in water testing, chemical balancing, equipment maintenance, and general pool cleaning. If you enjoy physical work, love the outdoors, and are committed to delivering excellent service, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior technicians with routine pool cleaning and maintenance tasks.
- Learn to accurately test water chemistry and apply appropriate treatments.
- Clean pool surfaces, vacuum pools, and empty skimmer baskets.
- Inspect and maintain pool equipment, including pumps, filters, and chlorinators.
- Help identify and troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
- Maintain a clean and organised work vehicle and equipment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company procedures.
- Provide friendly and professional service to clients.
Required Skills
- Strong work ethic and reliability.

- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and bending.
