Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Pool Fence Installer Assistant to join our growing team in Innisfail, QLD, with an immediate start available. This is an outdoor, hands-on role perfect for someone who enjoys physical work, being active, and contributing to the safety of our community. You’ll work alongside experienced installers, learning the trade and assisting with all aspects of pool fence installation. No prior experience is necessary – we provide full on-the-job training. Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead installers with the precise and compliant erection of pool fences.
- Prepare job sites, including digging post holes and mixing concrete.
- Safely load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Learn and strictly adhere to all relevant safety standards and building codes for pool fencing.
- Perform general labor tasks and support other team members as required.
- Ensure high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform sustained physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability.
- Eagerness to learn and follow instructions effectively.
- Basic familiarity with hand and power tools (preferred but not essential).
- Valid Australian driver's license and reliable transport.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or a related manual trade.
- Current Construction Induction Card (White Card).
- Basic First Aid certification.
