Job Description

Auspec is seeking a motivated and reliable Plasterer’s Assistant to join our dedicated team in Parramatta. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for ongoing, stable work with weekly pay in the construction industry. As a Plasterer’s Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our skilled plasterers, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist qualified plasterers with daily tasks on various construction sites.
  • Prepare work areas, including setting up scaffolding, laying drop sheets, and protecting surfaces.
  • Mix plaster, compounds, and other materials accurately according to specifications.
  • Load, unload, and move materials and equipment around the site.
  • Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Perform basic surface preparation, including sanding, scraping, and filling minor imperfections.
  • Adhere to all site safety regulations and company policies.
  • Support general site duties as required by the site supervisor or plasterer.

  • Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour.

  • Reliability and punctuality are essential.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Current White Card (Construction Induction Card) is highly regarded.

  • Valid Australian Driver's License and reliable transport.
