Job Description
Join the vibrant team at Bunnings Warehouse in Mount Isa as a Nursery Potting Assistant. This role is perfect for individuals who have a passion for plants and enjoy light physical work. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks crucial to the health and presentation of our nursery stock, ensuring our plants are well-cared for and ready for our customers. Key Responsibilities
- Potting and re-potting plants with care and precision.
- Watering and fertilizing plants according to schedules and plant needs.
- Assisting with the movement and organization of nursery stock.
- Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of the nursery area.
- Identifying and reporting any signs of plant disease or pest infestation.
- Ensuring plants are well-displayed and presentable for customers.
- Assisting customers with basic plant care advice and product location.
Required Skills
- A genuine love for plants and gardening.
- Ability to perform light physical tasks consistently.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
