Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Night Fill Assistant to join our team at the Woolworths Murray Bridge store. This crucial role involves replenishing shelves overnight, ensuring products are accurately stocked, clearly priced, and presented to the highest standards for our morning shoppers. Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently unload deliveries and transport stock to the sales floor.
- Accurately replenish shelves, ensuring products are faced correctly and aisles are tidy.
- Rotate stock to minimize waste and ensure product freshness.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety guidelines.
- Assist with stocktake procedures and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Operate pallet jacks and other equipment safely after appropriate training.
- Work collaboratively with the night fill team to achieve daily stocking targets.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in stock placement.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Availability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail or supermarket environment, particularly in night fill or stock replenishment.
- Knowledge of retail merchandising principles.
- Current forklift or pallet jack license (though training can be provided).
