Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and reliable Mushroom Pickers to join our state-of-the-art indoor mushroom farm in Port Adelaide. This is a full-time, year-round position offering stable employment in a climate-controlled environment. As a Mushroom Picker, you will be responsible for carefully harvesting mushrooms, ensuring quality and meeting daily production targets. Key Responsibilities
- Harvest mushrooms by hand according to quality standards and picking guidelines.
- Identify and pick mushrooms at optimal maturity, ensuring minimal damage.
- Sort and pack picked mushrooms into designated containers.
- Maintain a clean and organised picking area.
- Follow all food safety and occupational health and safety procedures.
- Work efficiently to meet daily production targets.
- Communicate any issues or concerns to team leaders promptly.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Physical stamina for standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
