Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and reliable Mushroom Pickers to join our state-of-the-art indoor mushroom farm in Port Adelaide. This is a full-time, year-round position offering stable employment in a climate-controlled environment. As a Mushroom Picker, you will be responsible for carefully harvesting mushrooms, ensuring quality and meeting daily production targets. Key Responsibilities

  • Harvest mushrooms by hand according to quality standards and picking guidelines.
  • Identify and pick mushrooms at optimal maturity, ensuring minimal damage.
  • Sort and pack picked mushrooms into designated containers.
  • Maintain a clean and organised picking area.
  • Follow all food safety and occupational health and safety procedures.
  • Work efficiently to meet daily production targets.
  • Communicate any issues or concerns to team leaders promptly.

  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
