Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Medical Records Assistant to join our dynamic team in a clinical environment at Wyong Hospital. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain patient medical records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Perform data entry of patient information into electronic health record systems.
- Retrieve and file medical records efficiently and accurately for clinical use.
- Ensure the confidentiality and security of all patient information in accordance with privacy regulations.
- Assist clinical staff with record-related queries and provide administrative support as needed.
- Prepare charts for patient appointments, admissions, and discharges.
- Organise and manage archived records.
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures regarding medical record management.
Required Skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic computer proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
