Job Description

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Marina Support Staff to join our team in Tullamarine. This part-time role operates on a day roster, focusing on outdoor duties to ensure the smooth and safe operation of our marine facilities and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual who enjoys working outdoors, is physically fit, and possesses a strong work ethic. You will be instrumental in maintaining the pristine condition of our marina, assisting with berthing, and providing general support to our valued members and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the mooring and unmooring of vessels, providing guidance to boat owners.
  • Perform general maintenance and cleaning tasks of marina docks, pontoons, and common areas.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards.
  • Operate and maintain marina equipment, including buggies, pressure washers, and basic tools.
  • Provide friendly and helpful assistance to marina guests and staff as required.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and environmental regulations.
  • Assist with waste management and recycling programs within the marina.
  • Contribute to a positive and professional work environment.

  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic understanding of safety procedures and willingness to learn.
  • Physical fitness to perform duties such as lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a marina, boating, or outdoor operations environment.
  • First Aid and CPR certification.

  • Current Australian Driver's License.
