Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Key Account Manager to join our dynamic Retail team in Parramatta. In this crucial support role, you will assist our Senior Key Account Managers in fostering strong relationships with our key retail partners, ensuring optimal product placement, promotional execution, and sales growth. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual to develop their skills in account management within a leading retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Senior Key Account Managers in day-to-day account management activities and strategic planning.
- Prepare comprehensive sales reports, performance analyses, and market insights for key accounts.
- Assist in developing and implementing promotional activities and marketing campaigns with retail partners.
- Coordinate product launches and ensure effective communication of new product information to accounts.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales forecasts, and account plans.
- Collaborate with internal teams (supply chain, marketing, finance) to ensure seamless service delivery to key accounts.
- Participate in client meetings and presentations, taking notes and following up on action items.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Demonstrated organizational and time management skills.
- Basic understanding of retail operations and sales principles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in sales support, account coordination, or an assistant role within the retail or FMCG sector.
- Familiarity with CRM software.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
