Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Junior SEO Data Analyst to join our growing agency. This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity for someone passionate about data, search engine optimization, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment. As a 100% remote position, you will work from home, collaborating with our SEO specialists and content teams to unearth insights from vast datasets, monitor performance, and contribute to data-backed SEO strategies that drive client success. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in collecting, cleaning, and organizing SEO-related data from various sources (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.)
- Support senior analysts in performing keyword research, competitor analysis, and backlink profile assessments.
- Help monitor and report on website traffic, rankings, and other key SEO performance metrics.
- Create clear and concise data visualizations and reports to communicate findings to internal teams and clients.
- Identify trends and anomalies in data, bringing them to the attention of senior team members.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of data analysis processes and methodologies.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO industry trends, algorithm updates, and data analysis tools.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data manipulation)
- Basic understanding of SEO principles and practices (on-page, off-page, technical SEO)
- Familiarity with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
- A strong desire to learn and grow in the digital marketing space
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience with SEO tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, or similar
- Basic knowledge of SQL or other database query languages
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Google Data Studio, Tableau)
- Previous internship or coursework experience in data analysis or digital marketing
