Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Wealth Management Associate to join our dynamic team in Fortitude Valley. In this pivotal role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our Senior Wealth Advisors, contributing to the seamless delivery of exceptional financial advice and client service. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive support to Senior Wealth Advisors in managing client portfolios and relationships.
  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of financial plans, investment proposals, and client reviews.
  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis on market trends, investment products, and economic factors.
  • Process client service requests, manage account opening procedures, and handle administrative tasks efficiently.
  • Ensure strict adherence to compliance regulations and internal policies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records within CRM and portfolio management systems.
  • Act as a point of contact for client queries, escalating complex issues to advisors as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, compliance, and product specialists.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a wealth management, financial planning, or investment advisory role.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products (equities, fixed income, managed funds), and superannuation.
  • Exceptional client service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in financial planning software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Finance, Economics, Commerce, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • RG146 compliant (or working towards).
  • Experience with XPLAN or similar financial planning software.
  • Postgraduate qualification (e.g., Master of Financial Planning, CFA candidacy).
  • A proven track record of supporting high-net-worth clients.
