Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Junior SEO Data Analyst to join our growing remote team. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual with a foundational understanding of SEO and a passion for data to kickstart their career. You will work closely with our experienced SEO specialists, helping to analyze website performance, identify trends, and contribute to data-backed strategies that improve search rankings and organic traffic for our clients. This 100% remote role requires strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in collecting, cleaning, and organizing SEO data from various sources including Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and third-party SEO tools.
- Support the analysis of website traffic, keyword rankings, backlink profiles, and competitor strategies.
- Help identify trends, opportunities, and issues in SEO performance data.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations on SEO performance metrics for internal teams and clients.
- Conduct basic keyword research and competitive analysis to support content and SEO strategies.
- Collaborate with SEO specialists to implement data-driven recommendations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO best practices, algorithm updates, and industry trends.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our data analysis processes and reporting.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
Required Skills
- Foundational understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) principles.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools, particularly Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to communicate complex data clearly and concisely.
- Self-starter with a strong desire to learn and grow in the digital marketing space.
- Eligible to work in Australia.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- Prior internship or project experience in SEO, digital marketing, or data analysis.
- Familiarity with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz.
- Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) as they relate to SEO.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Google Data Studio, Tableau).
