Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and organised Water Authority Admin to join our team in Fremantle. This vital role provides administrative support to various departments within the public utility services, ensuring the smooth operation of daily tasks and contributing to the efficient delivery of water and wastewater services to our communities. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate records, databases, and filing systems for various operational and administrative tasks.
- Prepare, review, and distribute correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documents.
- Coordinate meetings, schedule appointments, and manage calendars for team members and management.
- Process invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders in compliance with company policies.
- Handle incoming calls and emails, directing inquiries to the appropriate department or individual.
- Assist with data entry, spreadsheet management, and basic financial reconciliation.
- Provide general administrative support to project teams and departmental managers as required.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous administrative experience in a public utility or government setting.
