Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Junior Data Analyst to join our Business Intelligence team in Coffs Harbour. This entry-level role is perfect for individuals eager to kickstart their career in data analytics, with a strong emphasis on training and development in business intelligence methodologies. You will play a crucial role in supporting our team to collect, analyze, and interpret data, transforming it into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions. You will also be involved in creating and delivering training materials for end-users on BI tools and reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the collection, cleaning, and preparation of data from various sources.
- Perform initial data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Support the development and maintenance of dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Help translate business requirements into technical specifications for data solutions.
- Collaborate with senior analysts and stakeholders to understand data needs and present findings.
- Develop and deliver basic training sessions and documentation for end-users on how to effectively use BI reports and dashboards.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all reporting.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of data analysis processes and tools.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data manipulation).
- Basic understanding of SQL for data querying.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Preferred Qualifications
