Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and efficient Industrial Packers to join our growing team in Hervey Bay. As an Industrial Packer, you will be an integral part of our warehouse operations, ensuring that goods are meticulously prepared for dispatch, meeting stringent quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately sort, pack, and label various industrial products according to specifications.
- Perform quality checks on packaged items to ensure they meet company standards and customer requirements.
- Operate basic packing machinery and tools safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or safety concerns immediately to a supervisor.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 20kg) consistently throughout a shift.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in packing and labeling.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of workplace health and safety procedures.
- Excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehousing, packing, or manufacturing environment.
- Current forklift license (LF or LO) highly regarded but not essential.
- First Aid certification.
- Experience with inventory management systems.
