Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Graphic Finisher to join our production team on a casual day roster. In this role, you will be responsible for the crucial final stages of signage production, ensuring all products meet our exacting quality standards before dispatch. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for craftsmanship to contribute to stunning visual projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately trim, weed, laminate, and finish vinyl graphics and printed materials.
- Mount various substrates, including banners, rigid panels, and vehicle wraps.
- Operate and maintain finishing equipment such as laminators, guillotines, and plotters.
- Conduct quality control checks on all finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
- Assist with packing and preparing finished signage for delivery or installation.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the production and design teams to ensure project deadlines are met.
- Perform general workshop duties as required.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in graphic finishing, signage production, or a similar hands-on role.
- Proficiency in operating finishing equipment (e.g., laminators, plotters, guillotines).
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong understanding of various sign-making materials and processes.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- Formal qualification in graphic arts, sign making, or a related trade.
- Experience with vehicle wrapping and installation techniques.
- Forklift license.
- Basic computer skills for job tracking and material allocation.
