Job Description
GrainCorp is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Grain Handlers for seasonal work during the upcoming harvest season in Ballina, NSW. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in the agricultural sector, work outdoors, and earn high hourly rates. As a Grain Handler, you will be an integral part of our team, ensuring the efficient and safe movement of grain through our facilities. This role involves various physical tasks and requires a strong commitment to safety and teamwork. Previous experience is not required as full training will be provided, making this an ideal entry-level position for individuals looking for seasonal employment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate various grain handling equipment, including augers, conveyors, and front-end loaders (training provided).
- Assist with the loading and unloading of grain from trucks and other transport vehicles.
- Conduct grain sampling and quality testing as required.
- Perform general site maintenance and cleaning duties to ensure a safe and tidy work environment.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily operational targets.
- Monitor grain levels and flow, reporting any issues promptly to supervisors.

- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
