This entry-level position is perfect for someone eager to learn the fundamentals of glass installation, repair, and maintenance. You will work alongside experienced glaziers, assisting them with various tasks and gaining hands-on experience in a practical, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities
- Assist qualified glaziers with the measurement, cutting, preparation, and installation of glass in residential, commercial, and automotive settings.
- Handle and transport glass panels and related materials safely and efficiently.
- Prepare work sites, including setting up safety equipment and ensuring cleanliness.
- Support glaziers with tools, equipment, and materials as required.
- Perform general labouring duties on job sites.
- Learn and adhere to all safety procedures and company policies.
- Maintain a clean and organised work vehicle and workshop.
- Engage actively in on-the-job training and skill development programs.
Required Skills
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
- Valid driver's license (manual preferred).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
