Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and reliable Glass Factory Labourers to join our production team in Gosford on an ongoing basis. This role involves various duties within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ensuring the smooth operation of our glass production lines. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, safety-conscious, and ready to contribute to a productive team. Penalty rates apply for relevant shifts, offering enhanced earning potential for your commitment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment under supervision.
  • Perform quality checks on finished glass products to ensure they meet specifications.
  • Load and unload materials and products from production lines.
  • Assist with packing, sorting, and palletising glass containers.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards promptly.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to meet production targets.

Required Skills

  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and standing for long periods.
  • Strong adherence to safety procedures and a proactive approach to workplace safety.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Reliability and punctuality for all assigned shifts.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes (advantageous but not essential).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or factory setting.
  • Forklift license (LF class).
  • First Aid certificate.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
