Job Description

As an Excavator Spotter, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe operation of heavy machinery, protecting our team, and maintaining a secure work environment. Key Responsibilities
- Act as a dedicated spotter for excavator operators, providing clear and concise guidance to prevent collisions and ensure safe digging practices.
- Maintain constant visual and verbal communication with operators via two-way radio and hand signals.
- Identify and mark underground services (e.g., pipes, cables) before and during excavation.
- Monitor the immediate work area for personnel, public, and other equipment to ensure clear safety zones.
- Assist with general site clean-up and organization as required.
- Adhere strictly to all site safety procedures, policies, and regulations.
- Participate actively in toolbox talks and safety meetings.
- Report any potential hazards or unsafe conditions immediately to site supervision.
- Learn and apply best practices for safe heavy equipment operation.
