Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Site Security Marshall for casual night shifts to join our team in Salisbury. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals looking to start a career in security, offering comprehensive training and a supportive environment. As a Site Security Marshall, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure and safe environment at our client’s premises during night hours, acting as a visible deterrent and responding to incidents as required. This role is ideal for those who are reliable, have a keen eye for detail, and are committed to upholding safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular patrols of the site, both internal and external, to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or damage.
  • Monitor CCTV systems and alarms, responding promptly to any alerts or suspicious activity.
  • Control access and egress for authorized personnel and vehicles, ensuring all procedures are followed.
  • Complete accurate incident reports and daily logs, detailing observations and actions taken.
  • Provide a visible security presence, deterring criminal activity and maintaining order.
  • Respond to emergencies, including fire alarms, medical incidents, and security breaches, following established protocols.
  • Liaise effectively with site management, emergency services, and colleagues.
  • Ensure all health and safety regulations are adhered to on site.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Possession of a valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) Door Supervisor or Security Guarding license (training can be provided for suitable candidates).
  • Previous experience in a customer service or public-facing role.
  • First Aid qualification.
  • Full UK driving license and access to own transport.
