Job Description

Are you a student looking for a dynamic and engaging part-time role that fits your studies? Village Cinemas is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Event Ushers to join our team in Campbellfield. As an Usher, you will be the face of our cinema and theatre events, ensuring every guest enjoys a seamless and memorable experience. Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet and assist guests with seating and general inquiries.
  • Scan and verify tickets efficiently at entry points.
  • Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of cinema and theatre areas before, during, and after screenings.
  • Provide clear directions and information regarding facilities and showtimes.
  • Respond to guest requests and concerns with professionalism and a helpful attitude.
  • Assist with crowd control and emergency procedures as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Prepare the cinema for upcoming sessions, including cleaning and tidying.

  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
