Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical E-commerce Data Specialist to join our dynamic digital team. In this high-demand role, you will be instrumental in tracking sales performance, identifying key market trends, and providing actionable insights to optimize our online retail operations. You will work closely with marketing, merchandising, and product teams to enhance the customer journey and maximize revenue through data-driven strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets related to e-commerce sales, website traffic, customer behavior, and marketing campaign performance.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Identify emerging market trends, seasonal patterns, and customer preferences to inform product assortment and promotional strategies.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of sales data to pinpoint areas of opportunity and potential risks.
- Support A/B testing initiatives by analyzing results and providing recommendations for website optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business questions and translate them into data analysis projects.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across various e-commerce platforms and analytics tools.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel (advanced functions) and SQL.
- Demonstrated experience with e-commerce platforms and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
- Strong understanding of statistical analysis and data visualization principles.
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, concise, and actionable business insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
