Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Day Shift Gardener for casual work at our Goulburn location. This role is perfect for someone passionate about horticulture and maintaining pristine outdoor spaces. You will be responsible for the general upkeep and beautification of our store’s garden areas, ensuring they are always tidy, healthy, and visually appealing. This is a hands-on role requiring physical fitness and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general garden maintenance, including mowing, weeding, pruning, and planting.
- Monitor and maintain irrigation systems to ensure optimal plant health.
- Care for a variety of plants, shrubs, and trees within the premises.
- Keep garden areas clean, tidy, and free of debris.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of garden supplies as needed.
- Operate basic gardening tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Report any issues or concerns regarding garden health or equipment to supervisors.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of gardening practices and plant care.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications
