Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Conflict Resolution Specialist to join our corporate team in Tamworth, NSW. In this vital role, you will be responsible for mediating disputes, resolving conflicts, and fostering a harmonious and productive work environment within our corporate structure. You will apply your expertise to address a range of workplace issues, from interpersonal disagreements to policy interpretation, ensuring fair and equitable outcomes for all parties involved. Key Responsibilities

  • Mediate and facilitate resolutions for workplace conflicts and disputes between employees, teams, and management.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into reported issues, gathering facts and interviewing relevant parties.
  • Develop and implement conflict resolution strategies and best practices.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to employees and managers on conflict prevention and effective communication techniques.
  • Ensure all resolution processes comply with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards.
  • Maintain detailed and confidential records of all conflict resolution cases and outcomes.
  • Identify recurring issues or systemic problems and recommend proactive solutions to management.
  • Facilitate training workshops on conflict management, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Collaborate with HR, Legal, and other departments to ensure consistent application of policies and procedures.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in conflict resolution, mediation, or HR dispute management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • High level of empathy, impartiality, and discretion.
  • Ability to build trust and rapport with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in negotiation and de-escalation techniques.
  • Sound understanding of employment law and HR best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Law, or a related field.
