Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Concierge Service Assistant to join the team at our prestigious luxury property in Mandurah. This role is pivotal in delivering an exceptional first impression and ongoing support to our discerning guests and residents. You will be responsible for a wide range of services, from handling inquiries and making reservations to ensuring the smooth operation of the lobby and front desk. This is a shift-work position, requiring flexibility and a commitment to providing outstanding service around the clock.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and welcome all guests and residents, providing an impeccable first impression.
- Respond promptly and courteously to all inquiries, both in person and over the phone.
- Assist guests with reservations for dining, tours, transportation, and other services.
- Handle luggage assistance, valet services, and package deliveries with care and efficiency.
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of local attractions, events, and services.
- Manage guest requests and complaints, escalating to management when necessary.
- Ensure the lobby and common areas are always presentable and well-maintained.
- Coordinate with other departments (housekeeping, security, maintenance) to fulfil guest needs.
- Operate multi-line phone systems and relevant property management software.
- Adhere to all safety and security procedures and protocols.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a customer service or hospitality role, preferably in a luxury setting.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Professional demeanour and immaculate presentation.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to guest satisfaction.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and willingness to learn property-specific software.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- A diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
- Fluency in additional languages.
- Experience with Fidelio, Opera, or similar property management systems.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
