Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Compliance Officer (Regulatory) to join our team in Campbelltown, NSW. In this critical role, you will be instrumental in ensuring adherence to Australian tax and superannuation laws, regulations, and policies. You will conduct comprehensive compliance reviews, investigations, and provide expert advice to taxpayers and internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough compliance reviews and investigations of tax and superannuation matters.

  • Prepare detailed reports, briefs, and recommendations based on investigative findings.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in a regulatory compliance or enforcement role, preferably within a government or financial services context.
  • Strong understanding of Australian tax and superannuation legislation and regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse caseload and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in using IT systems and databases for data analysis and case management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Postgraduate qualification or professional certification in compliance, regulatory affairs, or risk management.
  • Experience working within a federal or state government agency.
  • Knowledge of administrative law principles relevant to government decision-making.
