Job Description
Are you passionate about healthcare and eager to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic clinical setting? Ramsay Health Care invites aspiring healthcare professionals to apply for our Clinical Internship program with a focus on comprehensive healthcare experience. This internship provides a unique opportunity to observe, learn, and contribute to patient care under the guidance of experienced medical staff. Key Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare professionals with non-clinical tasks to support patient care.
- Observe clinical procedures, patient assessments, and treatment plans.
- Shadow nurses, doctors, and allied health professionals in various departments.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records under supervision.
- Participate in team meetings and educational sessions.
- Help ensure a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff with sensitivity and respect.
Required Skills
- Currently enrolled in a relevant healthcare-related degree program (e.g., Nursing, Medicine, Allied Health, Health Sciences).
- Strong passion for healthcare and patient well-being.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Demonstrated empathy, compassion, and professionalism.
- Basic understanding of medical terminology and ethics.
- Proficiency in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous volunteer experience in a healthcare setting.
- First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Understanding of Australian healthcare system regulations.
- Availability for a minimum of 3-6 months.
