Job Description

Event Cinemas in Townsville is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Cinema Ushers to join our team. This entry-level role is perfect for those new to the workforce, offering fantastic perks like free movie tickets! You’ll be the face of our cinema, ensuring our guests have an unforgettable visit from the moment they step through our doors.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist them with finding their way to the correct cinema or amenities.
- Ensure cinemas are clean, tidy, and ready for each screening, including sweeping and tidying seats.
- Inspect tickets and guide patrons to their designated seats.
- Monitor cinema screens for any technical issues and report them promptly.
- Provide information on movie schedules, promotions, and cinema facilities.
- Assist with crowd management and maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests.
- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve minor issues with a friendly and helpful attitude.
- Support other cinema operations as needed, working closely with the broader team.
