Job Description

Are you seeking an exciting outback adventure that combines hard work with the unique experience of living on a historic cattle station? Australian Agricultural Company (AACo) is looking for enthusiastic and reliable Cattle Station Offsiders to join our teams. This role is perfect for individuals eager to learn, contribute to a vital industry, and experience the iconic Australian outback. You’ll be involved in the daily operations of a working cattle station, requiring dedication, a willingness to work outdoors in all conditions, and a positive team attitude. No prior experience is necessary; comprehensive training will be provided for all aspects of the role. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with all aspects of cattle handling, including mustering, drafting, and processing.
  • Participate in bore runs, ensuring water availability for livestock.
  • Undertake general station maintenance, including fencing, machinery upkeep, and infrastructure repairs.
  • Support the head stockman and other station staff in daily duties.
  • Operate various farm machinery and vehicles safely, after appropriate training.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and animal welfare standards.

  • Physical fitness and ability to perform demanding outdoor tasks.

  • First Aid certification.
  • Previous experience in a rural or agricultural setting.
