Job Description
Are you passionate about bicycles and eager to learn the mechanics behind them? Trek Bicycle Store Townsville is offering an exciting opportunity for a Bicycle Repair Trainee to join our dynamic team. This entry-level position is perfect for someone with little to no prior experience in bike mechanics, but a strong desire to learn and grow in the cycling industry. We will provide comprehensive on-the-job training, mentorship, and support to help you develop into a skilled bicycle technician. Key Responsibilities
- Assist experienced technicians with bicycle repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Learn to perform basic bike adjustments, assembly, and safety checks.
- Help with inventory management, organizing tools, and maintaining a clean workshop.
- Shadow senior technicians to understand diagnostic procedures and repair techniques.
- Develop a strong understanding of various bicycle components and systems.
- Provide friendly and helpful support to customers regarding their bike service needs.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and workshop best practices.
- Actively participate in training sessions and seek opportunities to learn new skills.
