Job Description

Join the Costa Group team in Broome as a Berry Sorter! We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to assist with the vital task of sorting our premium quality berries. This is a light work role, perfectly suited for all ages and fitness levels. You will be responsible for ensuring only the best berries make it to our customers, contributing to the high standards of fresh produce Costa Group is known for. This is a temporary position, ideal for those seeking flexible work arrangements and an opportunity to work within a friendly and supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carefully inspect berries for quality, ripeness, and defects.
  • Sort berries according to established quality standards and specifications.
  • Gently place sorted berries into appropriate containers for packing.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work station.
  • Adhere to all food safety and hygiene protocols.
  • Work efficiently as part of a team to meet daily production targets.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or quality issues to a supervisor.
